About me

I’m Abby Charles, a finance and operations specialist with experience across the third, public and commercial sectors. My career has included roles within the Civil Service, NHS, housing associations and commercial organisations, and I have worked in the third sector since 2011 across education, environmental and community music development.

Since 2022, I have been Head of Finance and Administration at Tŷ Cerdd – Music Wales, overseeing finance, HR, governance, grants, risk, contracts, systems and organisational administration.

Alongside this role, I provide finance and operations support to charities, arts and cultural organisations, CICs and other purpose-led organisations. I combine financial expertise with extensive experience of administration, people management and operational systems.
